Amazon Influencer Program vs Amazon Affiliate Program (2023)

Amazon Influencer Program and Amazon Affiliate Program are two different programs offered by Amazon to earn money through product recommendations.

Here are the key differences between the two:

  1. Method of promotion: The Amazon Influencer Program allows you to promote products through your social media accounts and live video and or prerecorded video. The Amazon Affiliate Program requires you to promote products through a website or blog using hyperlinks that people click.

  2. Commission structure: The commission structure for both programs is the same, but the Amazon Influencer Program allows you to earn higher commissions on certain product categories.

  3. Status: The Amazon Influencer Program gives you access to levels of status which offer different benefits. The highest tier offers better placements, priority support and access to exclusive events.

  4. Eligibility: To become an Amazon Influencer, you must have a significant following on social media, while anyone can sign up for the Amazon Affiliate Program.

  5. Tracking and reporting: The Amazon Influencer and Affiliate programs both provide you with tracking and reporting tools to monitor the performance of your recommendations.

Both programs have their own benefits and limitations, and the best option for you will depend on your specific circumstances and goals.

If you have a large social media following, the Amazon Influencer Program may be a good fit.

Otherwise, if you're just starting out with a website or blog, the Amazon Affiliate Program may be a better choice.
